Lightning Protection International is a fully Australian owned manufacturer and supplier of direct strike lightning protection, transient voltage surge suppression, earthing and grounding solutions.

For many decades, the principals and senior management of LPI have been providing specialist lightning protection advice to customers in some of the most lightning prone areas of the world. Our personnel have extensive experience in risk management, system design, training, installation, certification, and commissioning of systems in a wide variety of industry groups including:

Direct Strike Protection Products

LPI offers three types of direct strike protection systems, which include the full package of air terminals and accessories. LPI Guardian System 5 provides a purpose-designed package for direct lightning protection. The Guardian System 5 has been tested in compliance to IEC Test Standard: IEC 60-1:1989.

The LPI Stormaster ESE range of terminals provides a safe and efficient system for the protection of your facility from direct lightning strikes. The Stormaster ESE ranges of terminals have been fully tested in accordance with NF C 17-102 in a high voltage laboratory. In Addition LPI also offers conventional lightning protection system which compiles to International Standards such as IEC 62305, BS EN 62305 and AS/NZ 1768.

Earthing & Bonding Products   

LPI® provides an extensive range of earthing products for the installation of a low impedance earthing system. Whether you are installing a dedicated lightning earth or a facility earth grid it is essential to ensure personnel safety and provide an effective earth which will limit disruptions to services. 

LPI® Exoweld exothermic welding process is a safe and efficient way of providing a permanent connection between conductors. LPI offers a full range of earthing products including copper bonded steel earth rods, clamps, tapes, braids and pre - engineered ground grids and meshes, along with chemical earth rods. LPI also offers earthing accessories such as earth enhancing compounds, earth pits and earth bars, and transient earth clamps for equipotential bonding.

Powerline Protection Products   

Following the installation of a dedicated lightning protection system and the bonding of facility earths, particular attention must now be given to providing safe and efficient protection for Incoming Power Lines. 

LPI^® offers a wide selection of Surge protection devices (SPD's) which are designed for Surge and Transient protection of the mains power supply at the point of entry to your facility. These products and technologies are represented in two categories, shunt protection and series protection.

LPI® Range of Powerline protection products utilise Mov based SPD's and spark gap based technologies in providing reliable and cost effective solutions.

Telecommunications & Data Products

The protection of signal, data and communication lines is an important final step that should be taken when implementing comprehensive protection for your facility.

LPI^® provides a variety of protectors such as RF signal protectors; data line protectors, CCTV protectors, Telephone line protectors, GSM protectors, LAN protectors and also load cell protectors.
